Movies I saw in 2015

This is a follow-up to last year’s list.

With a list this long1 I could lie and tell you I remember everything about every one of these fine films2 — but then I’d be lying. And lying is for losers.3

Movies I did NOT see18 that I am still curious about:
The Intern
Cop Car
Burnt

Happy New Year, all!

  1. and the “accommodations” and afforded by Alamo Drafthouse []
  2. no, they were not all “fine” []
  3. So if you ask me, “Hey, how was [insert name of movie]?”… don’t be too befuddled if I can’t tell you. []
  4. and it is totally possible that I left a couple off of this list – if you saw a movie with me outside of Alamo and notice it missing, I’ll give you a bounty []
  5. unlike last year, this list is NOT limited to movies released during 2015. Also unlike last year, I am not listing my faves — there was one individual who took wayyyyy too much exception to one of my picks from last year and got a little too nasty about it with me when s/he watched it and disliked it. Not like taste in movies is supposed to be subjective or anything… []
  6. Alamo scored us Top Brass members free tix and trinkets for this one — the ultimate reward — which led some to curiosity about how one actually reaches Top Brass status — the raison d’être for this list, perhaps []
  7. This one went quietly, but might be the most powerful movie I saw this year. You have to be in the right mood to watch it, however. Here’s the IMDB link. []
  8. I’ll say it: I have a man-crush on Vin Diesel. []
  9. My vote for worst movie of the year. 80 minutes of “deleted scenes”, it felt like. []
  10. I may also have a man-crush on Tom Cruise — at least as an actor. []
  11. Master Pancake… slightly disappointing if you’re curious []
  12. this was a free showing for Victory folks []
  13. Master Pancake… this one was good []
  14. perhaps worth watching just for the Green Bay Packers scene []
  15. Again, not a new release… []
  16. Yet again, not a new release []
  17. Another Victory perk []
  18. Yes I know, somehow there are movies that I did NOT see. []
